Mr. Partha Ghosh Dastidar, an esteemed entrepreneur & a noble gentleman is the chairman and MD of the group. He is personality personified and acknowledged as one of Bengal’s best entrepreneurs in the Real Estate industry. Starting his career in this prospering sector in the year 1987, he earned a well-known name and fame though initially, he was in the proprietorship business. Being a keen observer, a great knowledge-seeker, and a highly ambitious person, he has captured every nook and corner of this Real Estate market with his potential and determination. He started his first venture with Pailan IndraNiketan project that started in the year 1987 and got completed in the year 1993.

His journey took its peak with the formation of UNNAYAN Group of Companies in 2004, which is a private limited company. The first project under this newly formed company was INDRAKANAN at Pailan and the very next project was the SHANTIBAN project adjacent to the Vedic Village. Construction of the same was started in 2000. Within a few years of its inception, i.e., by 2008, the company had undertaken big projects like TOPABAN, MADHUBAN and many more. The company delivered all the projects successfully to the owners crossing the boundaries of their expectations.

The company can rightly be said as a pioneer in Land Development. Mr. Ghosh Dastidar’s aim was not confined to apartments and complexes only, he dreamt of building an ultimate model township of Unnayan in respect to overall land development. The development came in respect of land improvements, supply of electricity in nearly areas, total reformation of the drainage system, greeneries development and overall beautification of the project area etc. Alongside, land development Mr. Partha Ghosh Dastidar has extended his hand in associated business perspectives i.e., Home Decoration, Furniture & Kitchen equipment, Electrical equipments etc. Some of the completed projects of Unnayan are SHANTIBAN & TAPOBAN at Rajarhat, MADHUBAN at Baruipur , INDRAKANAN at Pailan, SHJL-PANGAN at Dankuni & UNNAYAN GARDEN at Rajarhat.

Known as an activist, socialist and humanist, Mr. Ghosh Dastidar has served a lot in the development of various aspect of society and the economy. He generously has helped the needy and the poor monetarily in order to improve their standard of living. He also extended financial help to orphans and old-age homes. He is not merely a businessman who runs after making a profit but he is a true gentleman that is perfectly reflected in such generous acts. On the humanitarian ground, he is now planning to form an old-age home very soon. He had also contributed a lot to the victims of a natural disasters like Amphan. Being a pet lover, he has lent his contributions to various kind of pets. He was also the president of the Bengal Chess Association. UNNAYAN group sponsored the 2014 IFA Shield Football Tournament.

Mr. Partha Ghosh Dastidar has several prestigious awards in his credit. Some of the notable ones are the Asia Pacific Excellence Award, Shambhu Bhattacharya Smriti Sammanona 2012, Indira Gandhi Sadbhavna Award, Pride of India Award and Global Achievers Award.
